LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Acton School Department recognizes the need for a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) to complement the Standards Achievement Learning System for grades PK through 8.  It is the School Committee’s intent to provide funding for a Learning Management System and technical support that includes but is not restricted to: 

1. Electronic parent and student portal to allow for student progress monitoring

2. Tracking student progress towards meeting standards 

3. Assessments that are aligned to standards

4. Embodies the PK-Grade 8 curriculum

The Superintendent/Principal or designee is responsible for the implementation of an LMS.
